Tourist Accommodation for Sale

Infrastructure:

The Oyster Cove Chalet's infrastructure has been designed to be both efficient and environmental friendly.

Water
The property has its own cased bore, some 180 feet deep. The water is of excellent quality and quite drinkable. Thats is important as we have no problems with "Boiled Water alerts," like some areas of the state. We have the water tested each 3 months, but now the health department only wants us to do this once per year. If we were using rain water tanks, we would be obliged to do this every quarter. The bore is fitted with a pump which fills a tank at the rear of the units from which all water for the house and units, draw there water from. Filters are fitted to these area to further clean the water. Attached to both the house and the units are separate pressure pumps giving great flows to every part of the property.

Hot water and heating
The units are fitted with reverse cycle hot water systems. These operate just like a reverse cycle air-conditioner except the gas heats the water through a heat exchanger. They are cheap to run and of course  very friendly to the environment
For the heating of the units we use "Heat Pumps" They are of course the most economical way to both heat and cool the units. Again looking for the green aspects of providing ecco friendly visitor experience.

Insulation and sound proofing.
We have used in the units "Fire check" and sound assoption Plaster board and 100 mil of sound and insulation bats in the walls and ceiling. This cuts down on noise within the units along with heating and cooling costs.

Sewerage treatment.
Like all similar developments we have installed a super treat unit to cope with all wast from the property. This unit runs well and the water is used on our lawns and gardens.
